LA REGINA Company for Wood Industries was founded in 1982 and the purpose of its establishment was to manufacture standard furniture from bedrooms, dining and living rooms, kitchen, and office furniture. The target customer was the public sector customer.

It has been successfully dealt with the following companies:-

  1. Egyptian Industries Selling Co.
  2. High Fashion Stores Company (HANO – CHICOREL)
  3. Banzaioun & Ads Co.
  4. Sidnawy Company
  5. Omar Effendi Company

In 1995 the manufacture of block board panels and plywood in all its sizes has been introduced. In 1997 the factory has been developed with the introduction of the poplar / oak / beech veneer industry, in addition to the introduction of new production lines, especially for the production of panels from NEW WOOD of beech, beech pine and  oak, which proved effective and quality in overcoming many technical problems especially in the field of manufacturing doors, parquet and furniture, as it has the mechanical stability feature (due to their reversal fibers at the assembly) and the possibility of implementing the ornament and router in many forms suitable for the purposes of interior and exterior decoration. These machines can produce high-quality block board which exceeds the imported type.

To use the production losses, complementary industries have been introduced in 2002, including kitchens and floors.

In order to complete the integration of the production, a wood bending line was introduced in 2005.

Production of Factory:

First: Veneer:

The factory has the ability to produce Rotary veneer, which is a cylindrical veneer of poplar and beech trees – also has the ability to produce Sliced veneer, which is a sliced veneer of beech and oak trees. This is a unique possibility of the company in the Egyptian market.

Second: Wood Bending

Oak/ beech / ….. Woods are bended from tree trunks that the company imports from abroad

Third: Block Board Panels

  1. Block Board Panels are produced on the German-made line, assembled by PVA glue, and covered with the poplar veneer in different thickness. It can be covered with the decorative veneer (oak –beech – mahogany – walnut – MDF ……)
  2. Special Block Board Panels R G and they are assembled by machines specially manufactured for the company in Italy. The wood is assembled in these machines by a thermal glue and pressure from four sides and then it can be covered with veneer as in the previous item. It is characterized by the lowest proportion of the internal surface relief in respect of the assembled panels.
  3. R.G EXTRA Panels, in which the calibration of the core of the panel produced by B item is done by a special calibration machine, before it is covered with the veneer or MDF. It is characterized by the highest quality available in the world, which exceeds all the international specifications. It allows to deal in paints and the quantum mechanical production with high guarantees for the stability of the quality of the final product, as a result the final product is less expensive than the product that deals with any other type of Block Board Panels.

Fourth: NEW WOOD

They are panels which are automatically assembled from the natural dried wood after being cut into slices and fumigation from the malignant knots and other wood defects and then reassemble them by thermal glue and top and side pressure with different thickness depending on the use. The produced panel can be covered with two layers of veneer of the same type of panel material to get an external form with the best quality. Therefore in the manufacture of furniture made of the massif wood, it is combined between the natural material and the distinctive appearance of more expensive raw materials and the speed of production and the stability of quality with the exclusion of the human element as well as the reduction of inventory in the case of the standard production.

Fifth: Doors

  • By Using NEW WOOD Materials:

It is manufactured by compressing 3 layers of reversal panels to give strength and high resistance to the torsion, from beech pine, oak and beech woods, and then the doors are made of these panels.

The ornament can also be implemented on the two surfaces of the door through the router to give it the desired aesthetic form and places for HARD WARE.

  • SOILD CORE:

It is manufactured from the core consisted of a group of dried and mechanically assembled wood laths covered with a layer of plywood or MDF with a veneer of oak, mahogany or paints according to the client’s wishes.

  • HOLLOW CORE:

The core is manufactured from wooden beams or HONEY COMB and the surfaces are made from plywood or MDF covered with a veneer of oak, mahogany or paints according to the client’s wishes.

Sixth: Jambs

  • From beech/ oak/ beech pine woods dried in the kilns.
  • From a section of beech pine woods covered with a layer of MDF, 3 mm in thickness, and covered with an oak or mahogany veneer or without a veneer to give the appearance of natural wood at a lower price as well as giving high quality paints without affecting the strength of fixing the door itself.

Seventh: Floors

There are many types of parquet floors, all of them are made from natural wood, including:

  1. The traditional floors in 22 mm in thickness and have different widths in between 4.5 – 6 cm as well as different lengths from 40 cm to 60 cm.
  2. Floors of reversed woods size 11.5 × 60 cm or 90 cm and 22 mm in thickness.
  3. Floors made of tiles 15 mm in thickness and with dimensions of 20 × 120 cm approximately with tail of HDF.
  4. Oak/ Beech/ … Floors with 15 mm in thickness, massif (one layer) with dimensions in between 20/ 25 cm and 240 cm in width.  Its level is close to the nailed parquet.
  5. Floating Tiles: they are also made up of three layers with final thickness of 28 mm and dimensions of 40× 40 cm.

Eighth: Kitchens

The company’s exhibition has been established in 94 Makram Ebeid St. – Nasr City. Reservations are from two to three months.
